Rui Pinto
Rui Pinto earned his Biology degree (FCUP, 2016), followed by a MSc in Biodiversity, genetics and evolution (FCUP, 2018). Although coming from a pure biology background, curiosity for programming and computational wizardry brought him into the field of bioinformatics. In 2019, Rui joined Computational Multi-Omics to study intra-tumor heterogeneity and its therapeutic potential, namely the effects of certain drugs on variation between tumoral subclones and possible predictors of this variation, which is linked to cancer metastasization.
